Terms of Service

StageGen provides software tools for processing ECU calibration files (stock reads, master files, tuning projects). The service is provided to you under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your own professional or personal use.

You may register with an email address or via a third-party identity provider (Google, Facebook). When you use social sign-in, we receive only your basic profile — name, email address and avatar — as described in our Privacy Policy; we never receive your password and never post on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your account secure, you must be at least 16 years old, and you may disconnect a linked provider at any time in account settings or via the provider's own permissions page.

You keep all rights to the files you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them solely to deliver the service. You confirm you have the legal right to the ECU files you upload.

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful content, no reverse-engineering of the platform, no reselling access, no attempts to breach security or abuse rate limits. Tuned files are intended for off-road / motorsport use where road-legal compliance is your responsibility.

The following are treated as cheating and are strictly prohibited: using bots, scripts or other automation to access the service or scrape data; attempting to hack, probe or bypass security or technical limits; creating multiple accounts to gain extra credits, trials, discounts or other benefits; using AI tools or automation to harvest confidential information, master files or other users' data; and any manipulation of pricing, credits or referral mechanics. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account involved in such activity, without prior notice and without refund of unused credits or subscription fees.

Purchases of credits and subscriptions are processed by our payment providers. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Unused credits expire per your plan; refunds are handled case-by-case for failed processing.

The service is provided "as is". Modifying an ECU can affect vehicle behaviour, emissions compliance and warranty — you use tuned files at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

You can delete your account at any time; we may suspend accounts that violate these terms. We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes by email or in-app before they take effect.
