AdBlue off and SCR delete files
Selective catalytic reduction injects a urea solution — AdBlue, or DEF — into the exhaust to convert nitrogen oxides over a catalyst. It is a system with its own tank, pump, injector, heater and sensors, and on an off-road or motorsport vehicle it is often the single most troublesome thing on the engine. Taking it out means telling the calibration it is gone.
For professional and motorsport use where permitted by local law. Removing or disabling emissions equipment on a vehicle used on public roads is not permitted in most countries — check the rules that apply to you before ordering.

What an AdBlue off calibration does
AdBlue off, SCR off, DEF delete, urea delete, NOx reduction off — the vocabulary shifts between markets and the job behind it does not. The calibration stops commanding urea dosing, the strategies that model catalyst efficiency and tank state are removed from the picture, and the diagnostic monitors that would otherwise report a system that no longer responds are dealt with.
The part that matters most in practice is the countdown. On a stock calibration a persistent SCR fault does not simply log a code — it escalates into derate and eventually a no-start inducement, by design and by regulation. That behaviour lives in the software, which is why an SCR problem on a working truck cannot be solved with a spanner alone.
As with every service here, this is the software half. If the hardware is still fitted and dosing, a calibration that no longer models it describes an engine other than the one it is running on.
Why it comes up most on vans and trucks
SCR is near-universal on modern diesel commercial vehicles, and the components take a harder life there than on a passenger car: long idle periods, cold starts, crystallised urea in the injector, heater failures in winter. The systems that fail most are the ones fitted to vehicles that work.
That is also why this is a higher-value job than the passenger-car deletes. The control units involved are commonly truck and van platforms rather than the light-vehicle families, and the downtime being avoided is commercial.
