ECU file services
Every service below is applied to the read from your own control unit and returned checksum-corrected, ready to flash with the tool you already have. They are not separate products to buy one at a time — pick as many as you need on a single upload and they come back in one file.
Services
- EGR off and EGR delete calibrations Exhaust gas recirculation feeds a measured amount of exhaust back into the intake to lower combustion temperature. When the system is removed from a motorsport or off-road engine, the calibration has to be told about it — otherwise the control unit keeps commanding a valve that is not there and logs faults for the answer it never gets. From €49.95
- AdBlue off and SCR delete files Selective catalytic reduction injects a urea solution — AdBlue, or DEF — into the exhaust to convert nitrogen oxides over a catalyst. It is a system with its own tank, pump, injector, heater and sensors, and on an off-road or motorsport vehicle it is often the single most troublesome thing on the engine. Taking it out means telling the calibration it is gone. From €49.95
- Pops and bangs, crackle map and burble tune A crackle map changes what the engine does when you lift off. Instead of cutting fuel cleanly, the calibration keeps a little going in and retards ignition so combustion finishes in the exhaust rather than the cylinder — which is the pop, bang and burble people are after on overrun and between shifts. From €49.95
- Stage 2 tuning for modified cars Stage 2 is the calibration for a car that has already had hardware changed. A downpipe, a decat, an intake or an intercooler alters what the engine can actually flow, and a map written for a standard car does not take advantage of any of it — Stage 2 is the file that does. From €49.95
- Stage 1 remap and tuning files Stage 1 is the calibration for a car that is otherwise standard. No hardware changes, no compromises asked of the owner — just the factory software rewritten to use the headroom the manufacturer left in it, and returned as a checksum-corrected file you flash with your own tool. From €49.95
- DPF delete and DPF off files A diesel particulate filter traps soot and periodically burns it off by injecting extra fuel to raise exhaust temperature. On an off-road or motorsport engine the filter is often removed, and the calibration has to stop running a regeneration cycle for a component that is no longer in the exhaust. From €49.95
Before you upload
A master read opens directly — .bin, .ori, .mpc and the other common formats. A read from a slave tool is encrypted and has to be unlocked first, either through the crypt/decrypt service or by linking your device to our master.
If you work in WinOLS and would rather have the mapping already done, the projects page covers what a project file contains and how to get one.
